Allison Culbertson | Bio
Allison’s design skills and artistic sensibility have helped to create award winning solutions for clients including Intuit, Oracle Corporation and AT&T. Her sophisticated and sensitive approach results in powerful and effective designs that clearly communicate the message and intentions of her clients. She began her career at Henry Dreyfuss Associates, designing logos, graphical user interfaces and websites.
Originally from Philadelphia, Allison has lived and worked in Manhattan for fifteen years. She now divides her time between NYC and her home / studio located in the Hudson Valley in Upstate, NY.
In 1994 at age 25, Allison's entrepreneurial spirit invoked her to open a multimedia lounge called vOID. It was one of the first of many lounge bars, and the only to offer artist screenings and digital video events. Allison enjoyed eight years of success at vOID, before it’s eventual sale in 2002.
That entrepreneurial spirit still exists, and has manifested itself via vOID multimedia workshops, shootdv.com, and Hudson Design Consultants. Allison has worked to fine tune her design skills, and to explore new media including; Flash, multimedia, streaming media, digital video and marketing applications for emerging technologies.
Allison's other interests include; jewelry design, painting, gardening, cooking and yoga. She is currently available for freelance and staff consideration. Allison holds a BFA in Graphic Design from Carnegie Mellon University.
